Deposits and Cancellations

A minimum deposit of 25% will be required to secure all bookings. Bookings of over 16 hours require a 50% deposit, and all FMTY bookings require 50% of the full fee plus 100% of the cost of travel (unless the FMTY is an all inclusive Australian package where travel is already included). Deposits are payable at the time of booking. If you are unable or unwilling to pay a deposit immediately following our appointment discussion, you do not have a booking.

REFUND CONDITIONS

Your deposit is not refundable if you cancel. Some extenuating circumstances may be taken into account at my consideration. I allow for one reschedule at my discretion before your deposit is forfeit. Your deposit is forfeit if you treat me with disrespect during the cancellation process.

If I need to cancel, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a future date depending on availability and at my discretion. If you have paid a deposit for a longer date, and wish to shorten it at the last minute, you are still obliged to pay the full fee to compensate me for the time we set aside that now cannot go to anyone else. ‘Last minute’ is defined as within 48 hours of a local booking, or within one week of a tour.

ACCEPTED METHODS

Direct bank transfer to my business account, cash deposit to a smart ATM, Beemit direct payments app, or select gift cards are the only accepted methods.

An informal note:
The purpose of a deposit is to cover me if you cancel, because it is often very difficult to acquire another customer to replace that income. I am low volume (I take fewer clients in any given time period than the average in the industry) and have limited free time, so each cancellation impacts me more meaningfully; I’ve probably turned down others in order to accommodate you. I don’t argue back and forth about deposits; if you won’t pay one, then our conversation is over and I wish you luck finding someone else who fits your needs. Deposits serve as a litmus test for bad actors, and are quite standard in a number of industries: banking, law, travel, entertainment, and even beauty - my hairdresser and waxing technician both take deposits. If you have concerns about the process, I’m happy to try and soothe your worries, but at the end I will still expect a deposit from you if you wish to see me. It is your responsibility to research the legitimacy of a companion before you decide to book, not her role to prove it to you. I have established social media, reviews, and ads on multiple websites for you to research yourself.
I hope the official tone hasn’t put you off meeting me!
